7.04 Double yelow lines Since Long Ashton has become a village of services, parking has changed from from short to medium/ long term (dentists, hairdressers estate agents beauty shops ) double yellow lines would push parking into the surrounding residential streets in the centre of the village making it difficult for residents to park and to receive visitors. Any new businesses and services should be sited away from the centre and be required to provide off street parking.

speed humps do slow traffic down cheap and effective. buses during the off peak are virtually empty shouild they run less often. The council have caused much of the traffic problems by allowing houses to be built without parkikng facilities I have lived in the village since 1947
