To replace the seating in the bus shelters, not allowing yob culture to deny the public of the one true helpful facility. Regardless of what has seemingly become the Anti-Environment Department's intention through revaluation, I think that one should consider the planting of trees, where made possible, around the village as a boundary demonstration disconnecting itself from any intenntion of a larger boundary authority. Although one could say Long Ashton has become a townite village, I'm sorry, I cannot understand the thought of various businesses, which would be the basis of township. To support landfill site at east end of village with subsequent landscaping to debar the area from permanent building development.

This is an extra comment comment to questions 6.09 6.10 my daughter who lived in Long Ashton over 20 years and had 2 children born here was forced to move to Nailsea when she had to sell her home when her husband moved out, she didn't have enough money to buy another in Long Ashton, but had too much money for afforadable housing it was very upsetting for us. As for question 11.14 on allotments, I strongly disagree because there was allotments behind my flat when I moved in they've now been built on so I don't see any point in setting up anymore.

2.00 Traffic- volume increasing. Concern about parking on Weston Rd by new houses. Danger to other traffic. 3.00 Bus fares extortionate. Need for reliable, subsedised efficient service to reduce car use.Strongly support construction of safe cycle routes. Need route to Bristol from nailsea and Backwell. 6.00 Doubt my 3 children could afford to buy in Long Ashton. 7.00 Why do people pick up dog mess and throw plactic bag on verge?? 8.00 Safe walking. Make paths accessible to everyone but don't surface everywhere. We are still counrtyside. 9.00 Economy Not sure more jobs would reduce traffic. May increase travelling to village.
