I aplaud the recent decoration of the shelter by the chiildren's play area, at last youthful talent comes to the fore, but what about the bottles and cans. Why have a "zebra" crossing? If people park by it! on it! and ignore the zig zag lines and yellow lines. The answer is that we are waiting for someone to be knocked down on it. Also vans and lorrries delivery for the co-op unsighting pedestrians.

traffic calming frustrating and warning signs useless. get a camera do not destroy footpaths to people feel "safer" Facilities listed would attract undesirable element. However, youth need something to do.

In five years my children won't need the facilities. Young have been requestion changes for some time to no avail. Make effective change for youth a priority. Surprised over 65s only 20% of population. Facilities appeal to this 20%. There is a rift between areas of the community. Cafe facility would bring community together

As a qualified full time Youth Worker s Bristool, if there's any help I can give to develop a Young Persons Plan, I'd be happy to help.

The frontage of the Coop should be changed to improve the area. It is always dirty strewn with litter and often poulated by groups of youths involved in varying degrees of anti-social behaviour. Ther is not enough space between the road and the frontage - but I don't have any suggestions on how it could be improved without the Coop spending a lot of money. This respondent wrote "what about the library?" in response to Q11.10

young family and would welcome improved oppotunites for youngsters - especially sports/outdoor things, LA needs to operate independently from Bristol, very opposed to traffic calming and on street parking - support radar controlled devices - supports residential permit parking to discourage street parking and raise money for local use, would like to meet other villagers at the w.e. - sugggest quarterly village lunches to allow workers to meet famiies, having more of a 'village centre' more planting sponsored by local businesses

8.02 People park on pavements anyway. Would extended Youth activities be used and viable?

As a retired person I would like more encouragement for peopleparticularly youngsters to organise their own activities and clubs rather than have them organised for them. This encourages a sense of ownership and overcomes the sense of there "not being enough to do".
