With schools and village expanding, priority should be to provide activities/ammenities for youth. Junior football club with facilities for training and playing in the village would increase awareness and provide more community spirit. Need a couple of mini soccor pitches.

We used to live in a fantastic village in Leicestershire that had the best atmosphere and community spirit of all places we've lived in in the UK. The centre of the village had a real 'heart' to it with park areas, pubs, restaurants, flower shop etc. There was also an excellent bi-monthly village magazine to which all residents of the village were encouraged to contribute. We might want to think of something similar in L.A. to cover all aspects of village life (both young and old). The village, by the way, has a smaller population than L.A., and an excellent web-site. The village name is Quorn or Quorndon - check it out!

I am overe 65, a non-driver, therefore some questions are not relevant to me! As an older resident, and having moved here in 1963, I find the village has lost its 'community spirit' having lost shops, bank, etc., and has helped to create this situation. although we have many more houses in the village it doesn't seem that people like getting involved with village life!

Parking outside Church house - encouragment to use car park Where are roadsweepers? Butcher, grocer/fishmonger & bank to help with community spirit. Parking along main road helps with traffic calming!!!!!!
