Why use the Park & Ride if you live in LA? Surely it would be better to walk, use a bus or ride a bike - otherwise you are just adding to the congestion Public transport must & needs to be fully addressed before other road calming/speed restrictions are put in place The Mercury is a very important part of communication as an addition to the village Newsletter Welcoming new residents - I don't know how this would work as we moved in last August and haven't seen any publicity for such events. I would also be concerned that there appears to be much resentment to the new houses (and their occupiers) from older residents The health centre seems to be overwhelmed and it can tke time to get an appointment. Is it big enough to cope with the new influx of residents? The use of the car park for dropping off children for the schjool needs to be monitored, most parents still drop off in Copford Lane. Poor lighting at Co-op car park discourages my wife to shop there - its unsafe.

Horse fouling of roads and footpaths should be strongly discouraged. Horse riders as well as dog owners should make every effort to clear up. Narrow roads outside Church House and the Angel cause terrible congestion. The pavements should be narrowed to encourage traffic flow. Church House users should use the car park - steps should be provided to ensure users' safety. Control the 'yobs' in the village who are intimidating, rude, use unlicensed motoprcylces on the road, ride without helmets, antagonise shopkeepers. Give them something to do is they are unemployed i.e. job creation of village amenities.
