2.04: I would like to see double yellow lines down one side of the main rd through the village as staggered parking very much restricts vehicle movement. 3.05:would expense be covered? low charge? 5.01: Live in Keeds Lane, too remote! 5.09 youth + community worker.7.01 (recycling) n/a doesn't come to us! 7.06:Litter is kept ok by orderly, but people should be encouraged not to drop it!7.08: NOT in area around shops! 7.0i9 esp by bottle bank. 11.21: One day a week; what ages? youth club age would be good! 11.22: Surely we had the new club room. Who would fund and man this centre to control/monitor the young opeoples behaviour. 11.23: funded and manned by scout leaders and parents!! win win!! 11.15 fence the football pitch

less take aways in the village - encourages hanging out and litter every effort to retain co-op store further development of Gatcome Farm shot and opportunity to purchase local produce need to promote local countryside

2.03: Traffic calming alwlays causes bottle-necks; enforcement and education are the ways forward. 2.07: The problem at Glebe Road has been exacerbated by the ill-placed school. Closing this would only move the problem elsewhere. There needs to be a proper connecting road between the A38 and A370 and Weston Road. 3.03: For whose benefit? 3.07 & 3.08: How can you compromise quality any further? Service is abysmal at best of times. We need to get VALUE FOR OUR MONEY! 3.10: Waiting areas need to be LIGHTED; most are in total darkness. Also the drain at the stop opposite Glebe Road needs clearing to prevent flooding. 3.12: I cycle a lot in the village. Major problem is the lack of courtesy and common sense displayed my MOST drivers. 5.01: Though delivered, it is always late - events on Thurs. Fri. or Sat. always get missed out because don't know about them until AFTER they have happened. 5.07/5.09: Each of these ideas has its pros and cons, and the degree of each will depend on the type of person the new resident is. It may be necessary to employ each on a trial and error basis to find which really works, but one thing is for certain, there needs to be clear, concise, relevant and TIMELY info. to help integrate - it's just like settling in to a new job. 7.03: Need to enforce the current rules esp. for those irresponsible dog owners. Also need more BINS. 7.02: Need to do something about the youths that hang around littering and abusing passers-by before ? 8.02: Pavements need to be widened for access reasons, and parking should be restricted esp. on the main road. 8.05: Not encountered problems. 9.03: Jobs in the village will create traffic! There has to be adequate traffic management plans for all new developments. 10.02: More annoyance than 'unsafe'. 10.04: Is there a service? 11.01/11.07: Facilities used by young people that cater to their interests is good, and will teach them skills, and provide the guidance they don't get at home. 11.08/11.10: Location would be an issue with these, though they would be good, as access would be paramount. 11.11/11.17: If dog mess is a problem, then enclose the pitch or prevent dog walking and enforce it - there are many other places to walk dogs, but need more poo bins. Something like a proper BMX track or skate park would help prevent the damage done in the woods by kids who build impromptu tracks and cause lots of damage, and put walkers and dogs at risk. Would also keep them off the streets, and give them an area they can call their own.

The young people around the shops can be intimidating. People should be made to clean up after their dogs, and not drop litter, i .e.respect the place in which they live, or at the least not mess it up for others.

Think that litter is much worse since recycling system. Encourage community to pick up litter locally. Need for roads to be swept more frequently.

Suggestions cost money, council tax high and we get little in proporton to other North Somerset towns Poor parking on narrow pavements more visible police prescence Face lift to area behind Co-op Mess left by refuge men lanes need attention and vegetation cut back

the current state of litter around the co-op is unacceptable. it should be the co-op's responsibility to the community to deal with this on a daily basis. the car park at the co-op is also an eyesore - this whole area so central to the village blights it - a great pity. it seems very unlikely that more businesses established in the village will reduce traffic, the opposite is likely when the offices/units start to be occupied on the Research station site. our main concerns regarding the village relate to: - car parking on roads; - cars speeding; - litter; - poor regulation of new developments -unsightly horadings, flags, etc on development sites - filthy roads from muddy vehicles; - future strain on village medical services with increased population; - the lack of a 'focus' on the main street - this should be at the co-op - but the whole area aorund lets the village down.

Bus schedules need to be truly reliable. Buses too expensive for younger people. More litter bins needed. Need better local transport to and from airport. Need weekly banking facility.
