Rec - The area aound the Co-op and Recreational Ground is felt to be extremely unsafe for any age to use. Shopping area - The whole central village area around the shops is in need of attention and would benefit from some resurfacing, planting etc A central Deli/Cafe would be useful for both young families and the older members of the village Additional litterbins

1. Re-tarmacing of the disgraceful road surface - uneven, potholed and dangerous - along the new houses on the Research Station site (main road). 2. Speed humps as cars swing into Long Ashton (at 40/50 mph) off of Clarken Combe. 3. Prohibited parking (double yellows) down one side of Church Lane especially outside of the Angel Inn entrance on Church Lane. 4.The bus stop before the turning after Yanley Lane needs to be prohibited parking. This is a dangerous spot in the rush hours as buses cannot pull in because of parked cars. 5. Mini roundabout Long Ashton Road /Clarken Combe to allow safer and more efficient exit from Long Ashton onto Clarken Combe. 6. Double yellow lines on the main road along the new houses of the Research Centre site - accident black spot.
