A bank would be useful

I would like to see a bank back in long Ashton plus more shops and more doctors.

Proper health centre. This would also ease congestion at the bottom of Keedwell Hill. Doctors not managing now, what happens when all houses are filled? People shop outside village as there is no out of hours cash point except Co-op which charges. No banking facilities within the village. No extra police presence has been noticed; needed to call on various events eg football club, youth club, to be more visibile evenings. Around Co-op and village hall areas. Perhaps a walkabout to be more noticable evenings.

I own a mobile scooter, but am unable to use it to the villge shops (1 mile),because of inadequate footpaths and insufficient lowered kerbs at on/off points. INCONSIDERATE PARKING: When not in use, where a drive or hard standing is available, cars should be parked therein, not left on the road all day causing an obstruction. BANKING: There is a need for a Bank in Long Ashton, particularly with all the new properties soon to be occupied both here and the proposed new development on the Barrow Hospital site. More reasonably priced bungalows should be built in Long Ashton for elderly people who have, in past years, been active participants in many pursuits in the village, and do not wish to leave the area.

I would like to see a ramp made at the side of the steps on Tripps Row. My daughter has a tough time with a young child in its push chair up and down the steps to get to and from her house. She cannot leave the child at the top or bottom of the steps, so has to carry pram and child up or down herself when taking her other children to school etc. It would be nice to have a Bank in the village if only it opened a few days, it would be a great help. Cars should be stopped from parking half on the pavements, it is dangerous for mums with prams.

A bank or a cashpoint my answers are based on my age group and the fact that I am semi-disabled

More shops, bank

Better shops, less beauty places, more shops at the end of the village (Northleaze) A bank would be great and a weekly market even a cinema, which I think may keep the younger ones from 'hanging out' in certain areas. More garages or parking facilities in our area (northleaze flats) by the flats, and large vans banned as they tend to park on the pavement (unless they are working in the area)

Affordable housing for Long Ashton people to remain Wider range of shops - and clean Shops at Angel inn end of village Banking facilities

Bank wanted No parking on grass verges or in front of drives Wanted: to observe police presence during school holidays walkways / pavements to be kept clear of overgrowing plants wanted: pavements / footpaths suitable for pushchairs
tagged with: bank   parking   pavements   police

Bus schedules need to be truly reliable. Buses too expensive for younger people. More litter bins needed. Need better local transport to and from airport. Need weekly banking facility.

Don't use village shops as no bank, so have to go to Nailsea. Yellow lines should be from top of Lampton Road to Wild Country Lane. Not worth planting flowers as they would be vandalised. Stop motor bikes from using Dawsons Walk and fields.
