We are relative newcomers to the village, but i would like to see in future, the village to still identify itself as a village community, as it did when we first came. The parish council does excellent workand will remain key to achieving this. I would not like LA to become another soulless commuter suburb where everyone ois a stranger, where interest islimited to the walk from the front door to the car door.

would like to see a fast and safe route into Bristol by bicycle, cycle way safe but too long, road quicker but riskier, would like to see allotments in LA, possibly community garden/allotment, would reduce the need to travel outside of LA for allotments, reduce car journeys, this facility would benefit young and old, intergenerational, build community, contribute to health, we need affordable public transport and housing

Maintain green belt maintain LA as village with sense of communityu no more development railway station cyle lane that goes to Bristol city centre more pedestrian crossings more double yellow lines less anti-social behaviour especially around co-op more green space

We do not feel the Community Police Officer is visible enough within this village. Additionally, on the 2 occasions we have sought his guidance we did not feel this was of any value. It is important to build more smaller local shops in order to maintain a community atmmosphere. With the growing percentage of young families, it would be a good investment to provide additional leisure facilities, again to maintain the community atmosphere.

would like a central point in the vilage to enable people to meet: a small seating area, around a focal point/monument; with a cafe: a source of community whereby meeting & socialising are easy.

LA no obvious centre, people use Bristol facilities because close, new development may increase shops which LAPC should, link road and new south west housing development will make village a suburb of bristol, LAPC should: fight development in ashton vale, promote an annual fair on the rec, ban lorries through village - providing number in local newsletters for reporting incidences, appoint a paid communty maintenance officer to maintain community facilities, advertise for volunteers to assist in particular projects eg paint doors, clear guttering etc.
