Cox's Lane if frequently obstructed by brambles and nettles during the summer months. They are sometimes cut back, but need treatment with herbicide. The road surface of Long Ashton road (esp between Theynes Croft and the Angel) is deteriorating badly, it is especially dangerous for cyclists. It needs resurfacing, although it is not possible to do the whole stretch, maybe the worst parts could be repaired. What happened to the pond promised by the new estate developers? The population of the village is increasing, what are the chances of the return of a newsagents and butchers/delicatessen?
