More on the Sustrans Lottery Bid
posted 16 Nov 2007
Would you like to see a network of paths developed away from traffic so that
you and your children can walk and cycle in safety? A plan to create a new
walking and cycle-friendly route between Bristol and Nailsea is one of 79
schemes that make up the UK-wide Sustrans' Connect2 project - and it needs
your vote to make it happen!
Sustrans' Connect2 is competing in the Big Lottery Fund's: The People's £50
Million contest on ITV1 this December. Who wins will be decided by public
vote.
If it's Connect2, the new Bristol to Nailsea route outlined inside this leaflet will go ahead giving local people the chance to make their everyday journeys by foot or bike. Another 78 Connect2 schemes across the UK will also happen, enabling millions of people to travel in a way that is better for their health and our environment.
Vote Connect2.

There some more information about the Bristol bridge
here, and we have a PDF file available for you to
download.
How to vote
Online voting begins on 26 November at
www.thepeoples50million.org.uk.
Telephone voting will be over the weekend of 7-10 December.
If you would like to be reminded to vote for Connect2 please register today at
www.sustransconnect2.org.uk or text Connect2 to 80010.
David Neale has kindly sent us
this PDF file with more information on the Connect2 project. We also have another leaflet available to download
