Long Ashton Post Office will change hands on Wednesday 25th February.

Hola (Hands off Long Ashton)

The SBRR (South Bristol Ring Road) group decided before Christmas to expand its activities to cover the growing list of threats to the village and had suggested the name "Hands Off Long Ashton" or HOLA.  This was given a boost at the village meeting at the end of January when a number of residents expressed an interest in helping such a group and gave their details for inclusion on the mailing list. ...read more

Petition against proposed development

There is an online petition against proposed development in the Long Ashton valley and around Ashton and Yanley.

We are told that 10,500 new homes are to built locally, much in undeveloped and current greenbelt land between Long Ashton and Ashton. Once developed, this open space, hedgerows, fields and woodland will be
