Village Footpath Walks
Long Ashton Footpath Users Group

On the first Sunday of each month, the Footpath Group have a walk round the village. We meet at 2.30 outside C J Hole, and the walk is led by Harry Williams.
Walkes last for 1.5 - 2 hours, and we walk at a comfortable pace, so everyone can enjoy it.
Contact Harry on 392690.
Any contributions, financial as well as physical, would be most gratefully received. Anyone interested, please contact Harry Williams on 392690, or Nigel Moorcroft on 394699.
Village Circular Walk
Also, don't forget the Village Circular Walk; this is now complete, with gates and kissing gates replacing stiles. We hope you're all taking advantage of this - you can easily join and leave the walk as you wish, it is all way marked.
Footpath Leaflets
Five leaflets describing footpath walks are on sale in the library.
The latest describes a pleasant walk over the golfcourse and on the Dawson Walk; there is only one stile. It takes me about an hour and a half, but those younger and fitter will take less.
For those wishing to walk further, footnotes have been included, describing ways to join the new Village Circular Walk.
The other four leaflets describe walks with a pub or café half way.
The leaflets cost 30p each, and all proceeds go to the local library fund for the purchase of maps and books of local interest.
